Bandish Bandits fame Shreya Chaudhry got THIS souvenir from Mexico
Shreya Chaudhary who travelled to Mexico last month had a gala time shopping around. The Bandish Bandits actress loves collecting souvenir every time she travels abroad. This time around when she travelled to Mexico she shopped for a few memorabilia. One of the things that she got along with her has found a place in her kitchen.
Talking about what’s that special thing she got back, Shreya tells us, “I am fond of hot chocolate. One of the things I got back is something they use to make Mexican hot chocolate. It’s a beautiful looking wooden whisk, which is a part of their culture. It’s called Molinillo. Seeing that thing and knowing its use I got excited thinking I can make authentic Mexican hot chocolate back home in Mumbai. So, I bought that for my kitchen and I got some Mezcal (an alcoholic beverage) for my bar.”
In an earlier chat with us, Shreya spoke to us about her love for travelling and all things local. She said, “I personally love travelling. It does work emotionally and mentally for me. I feel it always rejuvenates me. I get a fresh perspective to questions I felt stuck with. I realised that every time I travelled it helped me comeback rejuvenated for my work and routine life in Mumbai. For me, speaking to locals, trying local things and living the life like locals do breaks the mundane cycle of routine life and excites me. Just sitting on one of those beaches, all by myself and reading a book, listening to music feels so good and soothing. This kind of break makes you feel excited to get back to work. Traveling helps me get fresh perspective.”
