Balakrishna's dance with Urvashi Rautela at 'Daaku Maharaaj' bash sparks criticism; fans say actress looks UNCOMFORTABLE - WATCH

Veteran actor Nandamuri Balakrishna has found himself at the centre of online criticism following a viral video from the success party of his film 'Daaku Maharaaj' last evening. The bash saw several high-profile attendees, including actress Urvashi Rautela, who features in a special song 'Dabidi Dibidi' in the film.

Sharing the clip on her handle, Rautela wrote, "OUR FILM #DAAKUMAHARAAJ & #DABIDIDIBIDI SUPER SUCCESS BASH. In the video, Balakrishna is seen grooving with Urvashi to their dance number from the film. What began as a jive, later saw the actor recreating some of his moves from the film. While Balakrishna enthusiastically danced away, Urvashi’s facial expressions have raised questions about the appropriateness of the situation.

As soon as Urvashi posted the clip on her handle, fans took to the comments to point out that she appeared visibly 'uncomfortable'.

While some fans defended Balakrishna, calling his dance a gesture of celebration, others criticised the actor for failing to respect personal boundaries.

“She clearly looks uncomfortable,” one user commented on the video. Another wrote, “...Don't act like this, sir, your daughter is like @urvashirautela .”




Still another said, "Bechari ke face se lag rha h jabardasti ka dance ho rha h."

"They are dancing sharam mujhe aa rahi hai," added another.

Others have come to Balakrishna’s defence, stating that the moment might have been misinterpreted.

Neither Balakrishna nor Urvashi have addressed the incident publicly.

Meanwhile, Daaku Maharaaj was off to a good start at the box office. According to reports, the film recorded the second-biggest opening for an NBK starrer at the Indian box office, amassing Rs. 26 crore approx.
