Ajay Devgn recently showed off the first look of ‘Bal Tanhaji’, a bold new project powered by AI that steps into next-level storytelling. Made by Lens Vault Studios, it builds on the world from ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ and points to big changes in how Indian films create franchises using tech. Mixing old stories with AI tools, ‘Bal Tanhaji’ plans to refresh history tales for young viewers and open up content for many platforms, not just movie theaters.
First original from Ajay Devgn
‘Bal Tanhaji’ marks the first original project from Ajay and Danish Devgn under Lens Vault Studios, signaling the entertainment company's launch into AI-powered content. It builds on the hit “Unsung Warriors” franchise that started with the 2020 smash ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’, turning it into an AI-driven story for today's digital viewers. ‘Bal Tanhaji’ tries new ways to tell stories while keeping the heart and culture.
Ajay Devgn’s vision and recent milestones
Devgn shared his vision for the studio and project with Variety, stating, “Lens Vault Studios aims to break free from traditional storytelling limits. We target fresh formats and platforms yet to be fully explored, backed by the rigor and reach of big cinema. Bal Tanhaji kicks off our push into content built for the future.” Earlier this month, Ajay marked six years of his hit ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’, fueling sequel buzz.
