Bahraini rapper Flipperachi enters Guinness World Records as Fa9la from Dhurandhar tops Arabia Billboard Charts

Bahraini rapper Flipperachi has officially entered the Guinness World Records after his song Fa9la (pronounced Faasla), featured in Ranveer Singh’s blockbuster Dhurandhar, topped the Arabia Charts with the highest number of billboards. The achievement has propelled the artist into the spotlight in India, where the track has gone viral alongside Akshaye Khanna’s now-iconic entry sequence in the film.

Reacting to the milestone, Flipperachi shared his excitement in a video statement that is currently doing the rounds online.




“Guinness World Records, Habibi. It feels amazing. It became a popular in a language [Hindi] that it wasn't sung in. It boomed in another language! It just saw an explosion and I am so thrilled topping four charts at one time with one song,” he said, revealing that he was in the middle of a photoshoot when he was surprised with the news.

How Fa9la became the breakout moment of Dhurandhar

Fa9la struck a chord with audiences the moment it played during a pivotal scene in Dhurandhar, when Akshaye Khanna’s character heads to Baloch for an arms deal. The track’s raw energy and hypnotic beat quickly became a talking point, translating seamlessly from the big screen to social media.

Soon after the film’s release, the song exploded across platforms, inspiring reels, dance clips, edits, and memes — cementing its place as one of the most recognisable musical moments from the film.

‘My DMs are blowing up every single day’

Clearly overwhelmed by the response, Flipperachi had earlier spoken about the sudden wave of love coming his way.

“To be honest, it's crazy. My DMs are blowing up every single day. I cannot keep up with the people that are just tagging me for the song and enjoying and vibing with it. So it's been a crazy time.”

The artist also shared how listeners from different parts of the world are connecting with the track, tagging him in videos and messages celebrating the beat and vibe of Fa9la.

From Dhurandhar to possible return in part 2

Fa9la went viral following Dhurandhar’s theatrical release on December 5, 2025. The film starred Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, and Sara Arjun, and emerged as one of the biggest commercial successes of the year.

Earlier, Flipperachi has also hinted at a possible comeback in Dhurandhar 2, teasing fans without giving too much away.

“I was going to keep it a surprise, but I guess there's something. I wouldn't want to tell you everything about it, but yeah, there might be something, yes.”

Who is Flipperachi?

Born Hussam Aseem in Manama, Bahrain, the 36-year-old artist has been making music for over a decade. His debut album Straight Out of 2Seas (2013) laid the groundwork for his distinctive Arabic hip-hop identity. A major turning point in his career came after his collaboration with DJ and producer DJ Outlaw.
