Badshah will soon take over the big screen with his debut Bollywood film ‘Khandaani Shafakhana’, co-starring
Sonakshi Sinha. The talented star will be seen playing a character Gabru Ghaatak who will reportedly bring comic relief to the story, something we got a peek at in the trailer.
While this will be his big-screen debut, it was certainly not the first film opportunity that came his way. In a recent interview, the singer-turned-actor revealed that he was offered a part in ‘Good News’ starring
Kareena Kapoor Khan and
Akshay Kumar. The star claimed that he turned down the offer as he thought he wouldn’t fit the part among other reasons.
Going on to reveal why he finally signed ‘Khandaani Shafakhana’, he said that he was comfortable with the part he was playing as it was close to who he is in real life, leaving aside his character’s loud personality. Stating that as he was surrounded by the likes of Sonakshi, Mrighdeep Singh Lamba,
Varun Sharma and others, he felt more at home and could play it safe.
