Ayushmann Khurrana has always gained accolades for his performance-oriented roles and he is leaving no stone unturned for his characters in his upcoming films too.
The actor, who will next be seen in Amit Ravindernath's next titled,
'Badhaai Ho'
, has learnt three dialects for the family comedy.
While the actor picks up languages and accents easily, he also rehearsed with a special diction trainer and the film's writer Akshat Ghildial on the sets and also spent a lot of time with his Punjabi and Haryanvi friends.
Speaking about the same, Ayushmann said, "In this particular film, Nakul Kaushik, the character I am playing is a guy whose family belongs from Meerut. But, it is based in Delhi. While talking to my family I use Meeruthiya dialect, with friends I use Haryanvi accent and when I am at my work place I use the Urban accent which is a neutral dialect. "
The learning exercise was an enjoyable experience for the actor. "I consider myself as a linguist and I love learning accents from different parts of the country. Having travelled across the lengths and breadth of the nation; I love grasping different dialects," he added.
Sharing his experience of working with the actor, Akshat Ghildial said, "Ayushmann picked up the accents and dialect really well. And it was a great experience working with him."
'Badhaai Ho' is a family comedy presented by Junglee Pictures in association with Chrome Pictures. The film is directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma and produced by
Vineet Jain, Aleya Sen, Hemant Bhandari and Amit Ravindernath Sharma and co-Produced by Priti Shahani. The film is set to release one day earlier on Thursday, October 18, 2018.
