'BadeMiyan ChoteMiyan', 'Pathan', 'RRR': Two-hero films we can't wait to watch

Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar got fans' adrenaline pumping when they announced their first film collaboration - 'BadeMiyan ChoteMiyan'. The action stars have joined the likes of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan, Hrithik Roshan and many others who are all teaming up for some of the biggest two-hero movies. We've listed them all below...

​'BadeMiyan ChoteMiyan'

Superstar Akshay Kumar and actor Tiger Shroff are set to star in the actioner 'BadeMiyan ChoteMiyan' that will be directed by filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar. The Vashu Bhagnani-produced film is a follow-up to Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda's 1998 movie 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan', which was directed by David Dhawan. The new film, which will kickstart an action franchise, will release in five languages - Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam - on Christmas 2023. Kumar who is teaming up with Shroff for the first time took to Twitter and said, "The year you debuted in this world, I debuted in films. Phir bhi muqabla karoge Chote Miyan? Chal phir ho jaye full-on action!"

​'Pathan'

Shah Rukh Khan will make his long-awaited return to the big screen in the action flick 'Pathan'. The film will also have SRK face-off against John Abraham as the baddie. Lucky for him, Salman Khan is expected to join him in an extended cameo. The film will also see Deepika Padukone in an action-packed role as the female lead.

​'RRR'

SS Rajamouli’s much-awaited period action film 'Rise Roar Revolt' (RRR) will see Telugu superstars Ram Charan and NT Rama Rao Jr joining forces as fictional freedom fighters. Set in the early 20th century, the film will tell the tales of Alluri Sitarama Raju (Charan) and Kumram Bheem as they fight for freedom and glory. The film that releases on March 18, also features Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt in pivotal roles.

​'Adipurush'

Come August 11, get ready to see Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan in action as they bring us the timeless tale of the battle between good and evil. 'Adipurush', the on-screen adaptation of the Ramayana and features Prabhas as Lord Ram and Saif in the role of Lankesh. Directed by Om Raut the film will also see Kriti Sanon play the female lead.

​'Vikram Vedha'

Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan will lock horns in the Hindi remake of Tamil blockbuster 'Vikram Vedha'. Directed by Pushkar and Gayathri, the film will see the two Bollywood actors take on the roles originally played by R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi. While one will be seen playing a hard-nosed cop, the other will turn a shade dark to play a gangster. The film is expected to release in September 2022.

​'Phone Bhoot'

Katrina Kaif need not worry about ghosts when she has Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi by her side. The young Bollywood hunks will be seen sharing the screen in the upcoming supernatural comedy 'Phone Bhoot' that will debut in cinema halls in July 2022.
