Baba Siddique’s death: Salman Khan cancels all meetings and requests privacy - Report

The news of the NCP leader and Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique’s assassination has raised many concerns. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has claimed the assassination of the veteran politician and sent a direct threat to Bollywood actor Salman Khan. Amid all this, reports are being circulated that Salman Khan’s security has been beefed up, covering his family and the house in Bandra. Further, during this difficult and disturbing time, the actor has cancelled all his meetings.

Salman Khan and Baba Siddique shared close ties; thus, the demise of the respected politician has affected the actor deeply. He visited the family early in the morning and returned around 3 am. He looked tensed and uncomfortable while coming back. According to an India Today report, since then, the actor has been in constant touch with Baba Siddique’s son Zeeshan Siddique and the family. A source mentioned, “Bhai has been on the phone checking on the funeral arrangements and every other detail. He has cancelled all his personal meetings for the next few days as well.”

The report further adds that Salman’s family is also devastated by the current situation and has requested privacy. Several of Salman’s friends have also been refrained from meeting him owing to security reasons.

The Mumbai Police has registered a case regarding Siddique’s murder, invoking applicable sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, the Arms Act, and the Maharashtra Police Act.

“Salman Khan, we did not want this war but you made our brother lose his life. Today the pool of decency of Baba Siddique is closed or at one time he was under MCOCA (Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act) with Dawood. The reason for his death was his links to Dawood and Anuj Thapan in Bollywood, politics, and property dealings."

"We have no personal enmity with anyone. However, anyone who helps Salman Khan or the Dawood gang should be prepared. If anyone gets any of our brothers killed, we will respond. We never strike first. Jai Shri Ram, Jai Bharat, salute to the martyrs."

As we speak, the authorities are checking the authenticity of the post. Meanwhile, as aforementioned, Salman Khan and his family have amped up their security.
