'Baazaar’s' stocks soar high

The trailer of Saif Ali Khan’s anticipated film, 'Baazaar', also starring Chitrangda Singh, Radhika Apte and newcomer Rohan Mehra, was unveiled last week. In just seven days, it has been lapped up by the audience. The film’s makers kicked off promotions in style by hosting a first-of-its-kind trailer launch at the Bombay Stock Exchange, considered among the busiest stock markets in the world.
Directed by debutant Gauravv K Chawla, the movie is set against the backdrop of stock markets, and the game of money and power.The trailer launch at the BSE, hence, only seemed apt. The cast of the film arrived in style and hit the iconic gong marking the end of the day’s business at the stock market.
Saif, who plays Shakun Kothari, a shrewd businessman in the film, says, “I am thrilled with the response that 'Baazaar’s' trailer has received. The launch at BSE made it even more special. Playing Shakun Kothari has been challenging, yet exciting for me. I’m glad to have been part of this film from its inception.”
