Bollywood producer Surinder Kapoor, 86, passed away on Saturday evening. He is survived by sons Boney, Anil and
Sanjay Kapoor and daughter Reena Marwah, and wife Suchitra. He died of a massive cardiac arrest at his Lokhandwala residence in Andheri.
Kapoor produced movies like Woh 7 Din, Pukar, Mr India, Judaai, Loafer, No Entry, Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai, among others and was an assistant director for the epic film Mughal-e-Azam.
Kapoor was the president of the Film and Television Producers Guild of India from 1995 to 2001 and was also felicitated with the L V Prasad Phalke Award in 2009.
