B-Town packs bags for IIFA

IIFA fever’s on and will stay till June 5, 2010. Many celebrities are ready to board the flight to attend the three-day star-studded event, which showcases Bollywood films and cinema globally.
The stage is set in exotic Sri Lanka for Bollywood extravaganza in Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium (Colombo).
Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan won’t be attending, along with Arjun Rampal, who has prior commitments.
Celebs tweets reveal excitement about the trip to Colombo, as they look forward to meeting colleagues and friends. Dia Mirza and Bipasha Basu both boarded the same flight last night to Colombo and put up pictures. Neil Mukesh has landed and tweeted that it was his first trip to Colombo and commented on the pleasant weather, Sherlyn Chopra is feeling ‘superkool’ and resting at the IIFA lounge at the international airport. Riteish Deshmukh too tweets, “HOSTs & DOSTs arrive in SRI LANKA- IIFA.” Lara Dutta tweeted last night, “Everyone gets into Sri-Lanka tomorrow and the madness begins! Calling it a night and getting some sleep while I still can!”
The event will be hosted by Mandira Bedi, Chunky Pandey and Javed Jaffrey with performances from big stars like Salman Khan and Sri Lankan beauty and Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez. Hrithik Roshan, Suniel Shetty, Lara Dutta, Riteish Deshmukh, Dino Morea and many others will attend the gala event.
