Ayushmann Khurrana’s film to clash with Meet The Patels

is releasing on the same day as Ayushmann Khurrana’s film
Saurabh Varma’s, Meet The Patels, produced by Krian Media is about two boys Tom Patel and Jerry Patel. Tom Patel is being played by Shiv Pandit of Shaitan and Boss fame. The role of Jerry Patel, Tom’s partner in crime is being played by radio personality, Ketan Singh who got selected after several auditions on the basis of his power packed acting ability.Ketan Singh is best known as the writer and voice artist for the radio sparkler Actor Calling Actor.

Apparently, Ketan's journey is similar to Ayushmann Khurrana in the radio and TV space. Both are RJ-turned-actors, and also have a keen interest in music. Ketan is an electronics engineer who became a part of the entertainment industry, in spite of intense objection from his family. He has done various jobs apart from being an RJ, like voicing for animated and English films, Hindi Radio shows, and TVCs.
“Ayushmann is an inspiration for me and I love his dedication and focus towards his work. When Vicky Donor released and I saw Ayushmann’s brilliant performance, it gave me an invisible push,” says Ketan Singh.
Incidentally, Meet The Patels is releasing on the same day as Ayushmann’s film Zor Lagaa Ke Haisha. Will it be a battle of the RJs on the big screen?
