Ayushmann Khurrana pays an ode to Kishore Kumar on his birth anniversary - watch video

Ayushmann Khurrana is not only a versatile actor but also a very talented singer. And he has established this from his very first film Vicky Donor, where he also sang Pani Da Rang. The actor-singer has always been a fan of the iconic Kishore Kumar and has always been very vocal about it. He recently paid a homage to the legend on his birth anniversary. He sang a mash-up of some of his best hits from Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas (Blackmail) to the title track of Dream Girl. Ayushmann captioned it, “Happy Birthday, Kishore Da! Your legacy lives on

Ayushmann who will soon be seen in Dream Girl 2 has often mentioned that Kishore Kumar was the inspiration for his role of Pooja in the film. He stated that when you look back to his film Half Ticket, in the song Aake Seedhi Lagi Dil Pe - he sang in both male and female voices! Not many know this but the fact that he could pull it off with ease made him confident that he can do Dream Girl.

He also added that he drew courage from Kishore Da because he had a reference point in the legend. And whenever he faces a creative block, he simply thinks of Kishore Kumar and he immediately snaps out of his life state.
