Bollywood is set to explore the supernatural thriller genre with 'Thama', a vampire-themed film starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna. Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the movie is part of Dinesh Vijan’s horror-comedy universe which also includes the 'Stree' franchise, 'Bhediya' and 'Munjya'. Ayushmann recently shared a behind-the-scenes picture from a night shoot, creating excitement among fans.

The actor shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the night shoot of Thama on Instagram. The picture shows a village-like set with a small hut, trees, and bright lights.

He captioned the shot with #Thama and #nightshift, building excitement for the film’s release and leaving fans even more eager for this supernatural saga.

The next chapter in Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock horror universe, Thama, was officially announced in October last year with an intriguing reveal, “Dinesh Vijan’s Horror Comedy Universe needed a love story… unfortunately, it’s a bloody one. Brace yourselves for #Thama – Diwali 2025!”

Directed by Munjya fame Aditya Sarpotdar, Thama features a stellar cast, including Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Paresh Rawal, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Written by Niren Bhatt, Suresh Mathew, and Arun Fulara, and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik, the film promises a thrilling supernatural experience.
