Ayesha Takia brothers Nagesh Kukunoor on Rakhi

Actress Ayesha Takia tied rakhi to her favourite director Nagesh Kukunoor on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
Actress Ayesha Takia flew down all the way from Jaipur to Mumbai on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, only to tie Rakhi to her favourite director Nagesh Kukunoor.
The two go a long way together, ever since Nagesh roped in the actor to do an offbeat ‘Dor’ in 2006.
Nagesh presented the actress in a deglam avatar for the first time and gave her that much needed scope to display her acting talent in Dor.
The two will be seen working together again in Nagesh’s forthcoming film ‘Mod’.
Our source close to the two revealed, “Ayesha flew down specially from Jaipur to meet Nagesh Kukunoor at his office in Andheri, Mumbai on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. Ayesha respects Nagesh a lot, feels that he is one of the few filmmakers who taps her capability as an actor the fullest. She is happy to be a part of his film Mod. She considers the film as her Raksha Bandan gift!”
