Atlee touches Shah Rukh Khan's feet after winning award for 'Jawan'; Fans react

Tamil director Atlee Kumar, who is riding high on the success of his blockbuster hit 'Jawan', won the Best Director award in a recent award show which was held in Mumbai on Sunday night.

Now, a video of Atlee and Shah Rukh Khan from the event, is going viral on social media. In the video, as the winner's name was announced, everybody clapped, and Atlee stood up with folded hands. Atlee, who was sitting next to Shah Rukh Khan, touched the actor's feet.

The clip has surfaced across the internet and is winning hearts. The fans were delighted to watch the sweet gesture of the director towards King Khan. One user wrote, “SRK is the best in the world.” “Best director ������,” another user wrote , "How cute and well deserved"

Reacting to it, Shah Rukh smiled and tried to stop him, but was unable to do so. He then gave Atlee a tight hug and a kiss. Atlee rushed to the stage, where he was handed the trophy by actor Rani Mukerji.

Jawan also witnessed special appearances from stars like Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt which set the excitement bar higher. Alongside Shah Rukh Khan in double role, the action entertainer features a talented ensemble including Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Ridhi Dogra, Lehar Khan, Girija Oak, and Sanjeeta Bhattacharya in pivotal roles.

As per a report by Sacnilk.com, Jawan has minted ₹1160 crore gross at the global box office.
