Athiya Shetty took a walk down memory lane by sharing a rare photo from her school days, leaving fans pleasantly surprised. The photo features her childhood buddy Krishna Shroff, and their adorable antics have amused everyone online. In the picture, a young Athiya can be seen pulling a crying face while Krishna strikes a playful pose beside her.

Water fun memories

The picture captures the two wearing life jackets, hinting at a day spent enjoying water activities together. Athiya posted the throwback on her Instagram stories, tagging Krishna and adding a laughing emoji. Soon after, Krishna shared the same photo on her Stories with the caption, “Standard since ’99,” a perfect reflection of their enduring and fun-loving friendship.

Welcoming daughter Evaarah

Athiya Shetty, wife of cricketer KL Rahul, became a mother to their daughter on March 24, 2025. The pair disclosed her name in April via a touching family photo on social media, dubbing her ‘their everything’ Evaarah. With Sanskrit roots, Evaarah means “gift of God”.

Bollywood debut and films

Daughter of actor Suniel Shetty, Athiya started her Bollywood journey in ‘Hero’, a Nikhil Advani-directed remake of the 1983 hit, opposite Sooraj Pancholi. She next featured in Anees Bazmee's 2017 rom-com ‘Mubarakan’ with Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, and Ileana D'Cruz. Athiya also did a special appearance in the 2018 ‘Nawabzaade’ track ‘Tere Naal Nachna’, before wrapping up with ‘Motichoor Chaknachoor’ alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

Krishna Shroff's TV journey

Meanwhile, Jackie Shroff and producer Ayesha Shroff’s daughter Krishna has made her mark in entertainment. Her TV debut came on Rohit Shetty’s ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 14’, where she secured second place. Recently, she joined Rannvijay Singha’s ‘Chhoriyan Chali Gaon’.
