The spirited girl wants to marry someone settled abroad and live the charmed social media life like her friends. The film saw her play an out-and-out desi girl for the first time. She shared screen space with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and was appreciated for her comic timing and hilarious act that matched her seasoned co-star. Talking about working with her, Nawaz had said, “I really enjoyed working with Athiya. She came prepared on the set. She had done a two-month workshop and had picked up the dialect really well. I met her for the first time at the narration table and then straight on the set. She was equipped to play her part.”
