As a mark of respect, a chowk named after Mehmood

As a tribute to the man known for his impeccable comic timings and charismatic screen presence, a chowk has been named after Mehmood. Director duo Abbas-Mustan came together with other members of the film industry to inaugurate the Mehmood Chowk in Mumbai.
The chowk, which is in Juhu on the 10th road, has been named as Hasyakalakar Mehmood Chowk.

At the inaugural ceremony guests were given an angavastra as a mark of respect.
