Aryan Khan controversy: Zaid Khan DEFENDS Shah Rukh Khan's son; says director's hand gesture was 'was meant for manager, not the crowd'
Actor Zaid Khan has seemingly come out in Aryan Khan's defence amidst a growing controversy over the Bollywood director making an obscene hand gesture.
Aryan, the son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, found himself back in the headlines a complaint was filed against him, for allegedly flashing the middle finger towards the crowd during a public event at the Bengaluru Pub on November 28.
According to the latest news, a lawyer filed a police complaint seeking the registration of an FIR against Aryan, alleging that he was seen showing middle fingers towards the crowd.
However, speaking to the media in Bellary, Zaid, who was present at the event, addressed the media and said that the incident has been "misunderstood". Addressing the media, he alleged that Aryan’s hand gesture, which triggered online criticism, was directed at his manager-friend and not at the crowd.
He reiterated, "The gesture was meant for his manager, not for Kannadigas"
According to ANI, the complainant alleged that several women were present at the venue when the gesture was made and claims that the act insulted their modesty, attracting relevant provisions of the BNS. The complainant stated that Aryan intentionally made an obscene and humiliating gesture in the presence of women. It also alleged, obscene acts in public, and conduct likely to cause public disorder or alarm.
The complaint further stated "public discomfort, embarrassment and emotional distress," adding that the incident portrayed Bengaluru in a poor light as a "safe and dignified public environment."

As reported by tv9kannada, Zaid began by explaining the situation at the club, alleging that, "There were more people than we anticipated." Sharing Aryan's concerns, he said that the star kid wouldn’t be able to handle such a large crowd, hence, his manager went downstairs to disperse the crowd. However, as his manager did not return for quite some time, both Aryan and he stepped onto the balcony to assess the situation. “It was then that he gestured to his friend-cum-manager. He did not show any gesture to the people. It has been taken out of context," Zaid said.Zaid on his friendship with Aryan
