Arunoday-Lee's three-day shaadi party concludes

Actor Arunoday Singh, the grandson of former chief minister of MP Arjun Singh, married Canadian girlfriend Lee Elton in Bhopal last week. While the nuptials took place in his childhood home, the reception was held at a palace.

The lavish Rajput wedding went on for three days, with Arunoday's celebrity friends joining in the festivities. Keeping the young couple's taste in mind, the Singh Kothi was redone with glittering lights and impressive pavilions. Arunoday's sister Ambika Singh, a New York-based photographer, took the wedding pictures herself, and shared some moments with us.

Partying hard amid the dense jungle of Kerwa were Cyrus Sahukar, Gaurav Kapoor (who played the double role of groomsman and the bride's brother), Sheetal Mallar, Sarah Jane Dias, Juhi Pande, actor-writer Suhaas Ahuja and newlyweds Yudhishthir Urs and Aditi Mehra. Lee's parents and grandparents flew down from Newfoundland, Canada. All the guests were seen enjoying the traditional mehendi and sangeet.

After seeing off the last of the guests, Arunoday's father Ajay Singh told us, 'Lee is a fine girl with a lot of concern for Indian sensibilities. We are happy to have her as a part of our family.' Sharing some more details about the shaadi, he said, "It was an extensive affair planned meticulously by the family. We gave guests the traditional Indian treatment. The banquet comprised solely of Indian cuisine. I'm sure everybody had a good time."
