'Article 15': Director Anubhav Sinha receiving threat calls and mails before the release of Ayushmann Khurrana starrer?

star Ayushmann Khurrana is currently gearing up for the

release

of his upcoming film 'Article 15'. The film is based on true events such as the 2014 Badaun gang rape and the Una flogging incident. The actor is leaving no stones unturned for promoting his film in a unique way.



The actor suggested the audience to watch the film before making assumptions about it being ‘anti-Brahmin’, as the masses started protesting on social media for the same. Recently, DNA reported that certain multiplex chain has received letters saying that

Brahmin

groups and Karni Sena will oppose the screening of the film.


As per the sources, the director has been receiving

threat

calls and mails from different brackets of the social structure.


Apart from Ayushmann, the film also stars Isha Talwar, Sayani Gupta, Kumud Mishra and Manoj Pahwa. The film is slated to release on on 28th June.
