Arshad Warsi says Amitabh Bachchan’s ABCL abandoned him after launching him with ‘Tere Mere Sapne'

Warsi is busy promoting his upcoming entertainer ‘Bachchhan Paandey’ with Akshay Kumar and Kriti Sanon. Recently at the film’s press conference, the actor was asked about his god father in Bollywood and he had named Amitabh Bachchan for launching him with ‘Tere Mere Sapne' in 1996. “I would say Mr B (Amitabh Bachchan). I started my career with ABCL, Joy Augustine, they got me in the profession. But then they left me, abandoned me. So I don't know what to call them. God father or what, I don't know,” Arshad had quipped.



At the same event, Akshay Kumar had clarified about his alleged rift with Arshad Warsi, which was reported during the release of 'Jolly LLB 2'. "Quite often it is reported in the media that I don't generally get along with the people I work with. I always maintain cordial relations with whoever I collaborate professionally," Akshay Kumar added philosophically.

Directed by Farhad Samji of ‘Housefull 4’ fame, ‘Bachchhan Paandey’ is slated for release in theatres on March 18, coinciding with the festival of Holi. Apart from Akshay and Arshad, this action-comedy also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Kriti Sanon in lead roles.
