Armaan Kohli’s father to undergo surgery today

Armaan Kohli’s father, filmmaker Rajkumar Kohli has been admitted to a South Mumbai hospital after being diagnosed with a coronary heart blockage.

The director, 85, who has helmed multi-starrers including Nagin (1976), Jaani Dushman (1979) and Raaj Tilak (1984), is expected to undergo a surgery at 11.30 am today. When contacted, Armaan said, “My father will have an angioplasty. The doctors will be putting stents to clear the blockage.His recovery will depend on how the surgery goes. Dad is a fighter and we are hopeful that he will be fine soon. I will be by his side 24x7.”
