Binoy Gandhi in the presence of their families and close friends. The couple, along with their respective families, is now in Jaipur for the
wedding
, which will take place on March 7.
Though the guest list would have been expansive in a non-COVID-19 scenario, it has been limited to a few for safety reasons.
A source says, “Both Nidhi and Binoy have a lot of friends in the industry, but they could only invite a few to attend their big day in Jaipur. The others have been invited to the reception that will be held in Mumbai later. In fact, the first B-Town celeb to arrive at the wedding venue with his family is actor
Arjun Rampal. He is very close to Nidhi and her father, JP Dutta and has arrived a few days ahead to be a part of all the pre-wedding ceremonies ."
The actor developed a close bond with the director while shooting for the film, Paltan (2018).
Nidhi met Binoy on the set of a film he was making for the former’s company, which also featured her as an actress. While the project never saw the light of the day, they became good friends during the course of the film. Their friendship blossomed into love, and now, they are all set to become man and wife.
The couple got engaged on August 29 and had originally planned to exchange vows in December. However, the wedding had to be postponed owing to the pandemic.
