Arjun Kapoor turns emotional as Anshula says ‘Yes’ in dreamy NYC proposal; Janhvi, Khushi celebrate sister’s engagement

Love was in the New York air as Anshula Kapoor, daughter of Boney Kapoor and sister to actor Arjun Kapoor, said yes to longtime boyfriend Rohan Thakkar in a picture-perfect proposal in Central Park.



Anshula took to Instagram to share a carousel of unforgettable photos. The highlight being the moment Rohan got down on one knee amidst the greenery near the iconic Belvedere Castle. Dressed in a bright floral dress and wearing the biggest smile, Anshula looked radiant as she showed off her stunning pear-shaped diamond ring.




But it wasn’t just the proposal that tugged at hearts — it was the overwhelming support and emotion from her siblings that truly moved people.

Anshula in her social media post, revealed that she and Rohan first started talking at 1:15 AM on a random Tuesday — a detail Rohan remembered when planning the proposal. He chose to pop the question at exactly the same time (India time).


Her Instagram note read, "We met on an app. Started talking on a random Tuesday at 1.15AM. We spoke until 6am that morning. And somehow, even back then, it felt like the beginning of something that mattered. 3 years later, in my favourite city, in front of the castle in Central Park, he proposed! At exactly 1.15 AM India time! And somehow the world paused just long enough for the moment to feel like magic."


"Just the quiet kind of love that feels like home. I’ve never been the girl who believed in fairytales.. but what @rohanthakkar1511 gave me that day was better. Because it was intentional.
