Arjun Bijlani remembers school football days with Ranbir Kapoor, hails him as 'nicest actor ever'

In a recent interview, his schoolmate and TV actor Arjun Bijlani shared insights about Ranbir’s down-to-earth nature, remembering about their days playing football together and highlighting why Ranbir remains one of the most genuine and approachable stars in the industry.


School days bond over football

While speaking to Siddharth Kannan, Arjun Bijlani reflected on his friendship with Superstar Ranbir Kapoor. He shared, "We were in the same batch at Bombay Scottish School, in the red house. We played football for the house as well as the school. He had his own group of friends, and I wasn't part of that group, but we were friends because we were in the same batch and played football together."



Chance meetings amid careers

Further, he added, "I remember meeting him once before, when we were both shooting at a studio. We bumped into each other, spoke briefly, and then went our separate ways. Later, we met again when he came to promote something, and I was hosting the shoot”.


Ranbir’s heartfelt praise

Reflecting on Ranbir’s heartfelt praise during Ravivaar with Star Parivaar, Arjun expressed, "I'm glad he just spoke from the heart without planning anything. He's a nice guy, and I'm happy for him and his family. He's done great for himself, and I love his acting. I'm glad we were school friends in this lifetime.”
