EXCLUSIVE: Arhaan Khan’s Bollywood Debut? Vikram Phadnis breaks silence after viral BTS photo

Fashion designer-turned-filmmaker Vikram Phadnis has sparked a flurry of speculation after posting a black-and-white photograph featuring Arhaan Khan, son of Malaika Arora. In the image shared on Instagram, Arhaan is seen sitting beside Phadnis, who is in the director’s chair, watching proceedings on set. The candid monochrome shot, with Arhaan’s focused expression, led fans to wonder if the star kid was gearing up for a Bollywood debut.

However, when Bombay Times reached out to Vikram for clarification, the director was clear about the context of the picture. “This is just a photograph on set. Arhaan is my intern. He is my friend’s son and he is only interning with me on the film. It has nothing to do with his Bollywood debut (as an actor). I am not responsible — he has a whole career ahead of him. He is like my child, he is my intern. So, he is only working with me on my set, on my directorial debut as an AD (Assistant Director). I had just put up a casual picture.”




The film stars Saiyami Kher in the lead role, with Vineet Kumar Singh and Tahir Raj Bhasin playing pivotal characters. The project has gone on floors in Mumbai and is described as an emotionally driven narrative.



For now, Arhaan Khan’s presence on set appears to be strictly behind the scenes, with Vikram Phadnis firmly shutting down debut rumours. However, given the constant spotlight on star kids and the curiosity surrounding their career paths, it remains to be seen whether Arhaan will eventually choose to step in front of the camera.
