Ardh Satya is perfect for sequel: Om Puri

In a day and age, when sequels are planned soon after a film releases, ask veteran actor Om Puri what he thinks of sequels and remakes and he says, "I have no issues with remakes or sequels if they are made well.
They should carry the story forward and make it in such a way that the filming justifies the original. Not like Ram Gopal Varma's Sholay remake!"
Om Puri's been part of many super-hit films so ask him which of his films would he like to be remade and Om Puri says, "I think Ardh Satya is perfect for a sequel, simply because the way the movie ends gives one plenty of scope to play around.My character has been given a jail sentence and the sequel can revolve around his life after he is released from jail! The only hitch is that I am older now and playing this character may require some real different kind of writing. Because it's been over 25 years since that film released and if I have to play that role again, something interesting has to be thought of."
