AR Rahman: Real rockstar

Rockstar music director A R Rahman said, “I have won many awards for Rockstar but couldn’t attend any of those functions because of my concert tours.” Rahman’s wife, Saira, made a rare appearance, dressed in a designer black-gold churidar, head covered with dupatta and looking distinct from the little black dress brigade. Asked why she didn’t attend functions more often, she turned to her husband and said, “When is he ever in the country?”
