AR Murugadoss ADMITS Salman Khan's 'Sikandar' failed at box office because he 'couldn’t execute it well': 'But when the audience…'
Salman Khan's 'Sikandar' couldn't pull the audience to the theaters, though the expectations from the film were quite high. The actor joined hands with South filmmaker AR Murugadoss for this outing; however, it failed to create magic on screen. The filmmaker has addressed the underwhelming performance of the movie due to the language barrier. And now, he has clarified that the real problem was the execution.
The filmmaker added that only after a person's demise do people understand their value and feel "the weight of guilt." He said that in the movie, after the king's wife passes away, her organs are donated to three different people. In the story, the king finds them out and fulfills the things he couldn't do for her. He then said, "The story was emotional, but I couldn’t execute it well."
He said, "I’m not saying I won’t return to Hindi cinema; I definitely will if I find my comfort zone. But when the audience can’t connect with my thinking, it affects me deeply."
