Anushka Sharma shares a special message for her papa Ajay Kumar Sharma on Army Day

On the occasion of 'Army Day' many Bollywood actors have wished the soldiers of our nation. The celebrities have taken to their social media handles to praise the courage, valour and sacrifices of Indian soldiers.
Bollywood celebs like Sanjay Dutt, Sidharth Malhotra, Nimrat Kaur and others shared their heartening messages and salute the brave soldiers of our country. Early in the day Anushka Sharma also took to her Instagram stories to share a special message for her father Ajay Kumar Sharma for India in 1999’s Kargil War.
The actress shared a collage of photos of her papa and wrote, "Their selfless sacrifices, courage and brotherhood are beyond words. My dad always made me proud. Love you, papa".

Earlier in an interview, talking about the Army day, Anushka had mentioned that being an army kid has instilled great confidence in her because of the open, non-gender-bias environment she was raised in. She has harnessed a great sense of adventure and fun. She can relate to continuous changes, which have added to her personal growth from an early age.
