Starting her career as a model, Anushka Sharma has successfully established herself as one of the leading actresses in Bollywood industry. One of the highest-paid actresses in India, Anushka also ventured into film production. She co-founded the production company Clean Slate Films with her brother Karnesh Sharma.

A fashion icon herself, Anushka's latest entrepreneurial venture is Nush - an apparel line that tailors international high street fashion to Indian tastes. Launched in partnership with Suditi Industries Ltd, Nush reflects the personality of Anushka.

Anushka was born in Ayodhya and raised in Bangalore. Her first modelling assignment was for fashion designer Wendell Rodricks in 2007. After a successful audition at Yash Raj Films, Anushka made her blockbuster debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in romantic movie Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi in 2008.

She rose to fame with her next Yash Raj movie - Band Bajja Barat (2010). This was followed by some other successful films such as - Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012), PK (2014), NH10 (2015) (also her production debut) Sultan (2016), Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016) and Jab Harry Met Sejal (2017).

Apart from movies, Anushka is also involved in a lot of brand endorsement and social works.
