Anushka Sharma: I never planned to become a producer

Anushka Sharma recently launched the trailer of her action thriller NH10 along with co-star Neil Bhoopalam, director Navdeep Singh and a team of producers.
The film marks Anushka’s debut as a producer. The pretty actress giggled throughout while tactfully fielding questions on her alleged beau, Virat Kohli. She also looked amused to see both Neil and Navdeep sporting a bald pate.

Talking about her dual role as an actor and producer, Anushka said, “I can’t differentiate between the two. It gave me a lot of happiness to be totally involved in this content-driven film. I never planned to become a producer. The film was so interesting that I wanted to back it.” Neil, on his part, joked, “The film has a bigger set of producers than the cast!”
Produced by Eros International, Clean Slate Films and Phantom Production, NH10 releases on March 6.
