Anushka and Virat win hearts with their regal look at the engagement
Anushka decided to go vintage for her engagement, and we're so not complaining. The actress donned a burgundy velvet saree, hand-embroidered with miniature pearls and zardosi work. She wore a stunning uncut diamond and pearl choker with matching studs. The entire look was complemented with kohl-rimmed eyes, red roses and a round bindi. Virat, on the other hand, looked suave in a well-tailored blue suit.

In a dreamy background, Anushka looked simple, yet beautiful in a fuchsia pink and orange graphic lehenga, paired with a floral blue blouse. She opted for sleek center-parted hair and bare-minimum makeup. Virat donned a signature khadi kurta churidaar with a classic fuchsia pink textured silk Nehru jacket, detailed with blazer buttons. The duo happily showed off their mehendi, while posing for the camera.

While most brides prefer a vibrant red for their wedding, Anushka wore a pale pink lehenga with Renaissance embroidery in vintage English colours, embellished with silver-gold metal thread, pearls and beads. She accessorised the lehenga with heavy bridal jewellery. What adds to the beauty is the au-naturel look on the face. Isn't she the prettiest bride? The ace cricketer looked debonair in an ivory raw silk sherwani, hand-embroidered in a vintage Benarasi pattern with an old rose silk Kota safa.
