Anurag Kashyap recently confirmed reports of a larger cast for his upcoming untitled thriller. Contrary to earlier news, the film will feature a broader ensemble than initially stated. Led by Bobby Deol and Sanya Malhotra, the movie promises an extended cast, hinting at an even more exciting cinematic experience.

The upcoming project, reportedly based on an unpublished book co-written by Anurag Kashyap and three other writers, boasts a stellar cast. Alongside Bobby Deol and Sanya Malhotra, the film features Saba Azad, Jitendra Joshi, Sapna Pabbi, Riddhi Sen, Ankush Gedam, Nagesh Bhonsle, Jaimini Pathak, and seasoned theater artist Ghanshyam Garg, among other talented actors.

Sapna recently shared a sweet selfie with the director on her Instagram. Expressing her joy, she captioned it, "Blessed to be able to call this legendary man my director and my friend. @anuragkashyap10, more power to you, family.".


Interestingly, this project will also mark the Bollywood debut of renowned Malayalam actor Joju George, celebrated for his roles in acclaimed films such as 'Iratta', 'Nayattu', and 'Churuli'.

Numerous media reports indicate that the film will be a gripping thriller inspired by real-life events. Produced by Nikhil Dwivedi, Sudip Sharma and Abhishek Banerjee will be responsible for scripting duties.

Sudip Sharma is renowned for his work on films such as 'NH10', 'Udta Punjab', 'Paatal Lok', and 'Kohrra', while Abhishek Banerjee gained recognition for his involvement in Anushka Sharma’s 2018 horror film 'Pari'.

On the other hand, Anurag last directed the Sunny Leone-starrer "Kennedy," which screened at Cannes last year.
