Anupam Kher to collaborate with son Sikandar Kher?

Anupam Kher has been an actor for nearly four decades. His son, Sikandar Kher, joined in half-way through his dad’s journey in cinema. Buzz is that the father-son duo are likely to team up for a project. While it’s not clear yet whether it’s a show or a full-length feature, what is certain is that they are in talks for it for a few weeks now.

When we recently chatted with Sikandar he confirmed to BT, “It’s great to be offered work during the lockdown. I have never worked with my father. A lot of people who saw his picture on the sets of

probably felt that we are in it together but we’re not. This is the first time we have an offer to work together in a project. It was a bit rushed when they approached us initially; in fact they wanted to shoot it during the lockdown. But gradually, the makers felt they could flesh it out better with a little time on their hand. So, now, we’re now waiting to know what happened. Honestly, it will be amazing to work with dad. I have only seen him work for almost 40 years, relentlessly. He’s barely ever been home. This is the longest that dad stayed indoors. So, for me, this is a chance to be around him and work with him. Keeping my fingers crossed for now.”
