While there are those who are harshly criticizing the verdict, Salman’s well wishers from within the film fraternity have taken to Twitter to express their happiness. The list of Salman supporters includes names like Anupam Kher, Mika Singh, Rimi Sen, Aftab Shivdasani, Adnan Sami and many more. Here's what they tweeted...
Jai Ho actress Daisy Shah too stated that it was time for celebration. She was quoted by IANS saying, "It's time for double celebration as Salman has been acquitted and I am extremely happy for him. I will be meeting him in the evening. It's a big day for his family and friends."

Shilpa Shirodkar too said to the same agency, "I just wish he is acquitted from all the other cases he has on his head. God bless him and he lives a very healthy life and keeps entertaining everyone."
Others including Hema Malini, Madhuri Dixit, Anees Bazmee and Madhur Bhandarkar were quoted by PTI saying....
Hema Malini: We all feel good about him and this is a great news for all of us. He should now settle down and get married. This is what I wish for him.
Madhuri Dixit: Anything good happens in anyone's life, I am happy about it.
Anees Bazmee: It (case) has taken a long time... It's a relief for him and his family. It has taken the court to come to conclusion so they would have taken into consideration a lot of factors. I don't know much about the law (whether it's a right or wrong decision). There is no one above the court.
Madhur Bhandarkar: For 13 years, he was going through this ordeal. So it is a great news for the film industry, directors, producers, and even his fans. I haven't read the judgement but Bombay High Court definitely saw something and gave the verdict which was absolutely right. It is a big, big relief for Salman.
