Anupam Kher kicks off 'Khosla Ka Ghosla 2' shoot with OG cast reunion, teases Boman Irani’s return

The cult film 'Khosla Ka Ghosla' is officially back with its second part, and the sequel has finally begun shooting. Actor Anupam Kher confirmed the update by sharing photos and videos from the set on his X account (formerly Twitter). With several original cast members returning, the excitement around 'Khosla Ka Ghosla 2' is already building fast.

Anupam Kher has been actively posting pictures and short videos, giving fans a peek into the ongoing shoot. He shared frames with Ranvir Shorey, Parvin Dabas, and Kiran Juneja, all of whom played key roles in the 2006 film. In his post, Anupam spoke about how rare it is to witness this kind of anticipation for a sequel, even after spending decades in the industry. He wrote, “KHOSLAS ARE BACK AND HOW: I have been in movies now for four decades. But never have I experienced this crazy anticipation for the sequel of any movie (including International) as in the case of #KhoslaKaGhosla2! I wonder what is it that resonates with the magic of this film! Please share with what you think are the REASONS for this excitement (from all age groups)! I am genuinely curious!! Jai Mata Di!”

Boman Irani’s Khurana saab returns

One of the biggest highlights of the sequel is the return of Boman Irani’s iconic character Kishan Khurana. Anupam teased the comeback with a short video of Boman practicing his famous smile. He added, “KHURANA IS BACK….AND HOW. Iconic #KhuranaSaab has landed back in the lives of #Khoslas with his trademark #UncleJi menacing sneer!! Jai Ho!”




The video instantly brought back memories of the original film and reminded fans why Khurana Saab remains such a memorable character.

Ravi Kishan joins the cast

The sequel also adds a new name to the movie. Ravi Kishan has joined the cast, and Anupam welcomed him with a warm note online. Sharing his excitement, he wrote, “Extremely Happy, Delighted and Joyous to have a very dear friend @ravikishann joins the cast of #KhoslaKaGhosla2. We worked together long time back. But this is going to be super special. I admire Ravi as an excellent actor, a hardworking parliamentarian and above all as the PERSON that he is!! About the film and what we know so far

'Khosla Ka Ghosla' released in 2006 and became a commercial success. It followed a middle-class Delhi family trying to reclaim their land from a powerful builder. The film also won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi. The sequel is being directed by Umesh Bisht, while the release date is still under wraps. Fans, however, are already counting down.
