'Mask hadn’t come off yet, slowly...’: Anupam Kher FINALLY ADDRESSES Naseeruddin Shah's 'sycophantic nature' comment
Everyone is well aware of the war of words between Anupam Kher and Naseeruddin Shah, which happened after the latter made remarks about the former's upbringing. Recently, the 'Saaraansh' actor addressed the situation between him and Shah. Kher expressed that it was just an action-reaction thing and nothing else.
He said, "I just responded to a video where he unnecessarily brought up my upbringing. My family and my education have raised me to be a calm person, but if someone hurts my pride, they have taught me to respond."
Anupam stated that one cannot keep everyone happy, and at times, people don't change. He added, "They have always been like that; it’s just that the mask hadn’t come off yet. Slowly with time people start showing their reality."
The 'BABY' actor clarified that he is not talking about Naseerudin Shah or Mahesh Bhatt in particular, but in general.
He had said, "Someone like Anupam Kher has been very vocal. I don’t think he needs to be taken seriously. He’s a clown. Any number of his contemporaries from NSD and FTII can attest to his sycophantic nature. It’s in his blood; he can’t help it."
