Annu Kapoor ‘predicts’ box-office collection of ‘Dream Girl’

’ (2012), actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Annu Kapoor are all set to reunite on screen. This time around, they will be seen in director Raaj Shandilyaa’s Dream Girl, which will showcase Ayushmann in a unique avatar.

The actor plays Karm, who turns into Pooja — a male caller at a female friendship call centre in Mathura, who floors everyone with his female voice and unique ways of solving people’s problems. Apart from Ayushmann and Annu, the film has a stellar ensemble cast, including Vijay Raaz, Manjot Singh, Abhishek Banerjee, Nidhi Bisht and Raj Bhansali, among others.

Annu will play Ayushmann’s father in the family entertainer, and he is quite optimistic about its box-office success. At a recent event, the senior actor said that the film will definitely work. In fact, he specifically stated that the film will earn between Rs 178 crore and 187 crore at the ticket windows. Annu said that good films have always worked and ‘Dream Girl’ will not be an exception.

About working with Ayushmann again, Annu said that the young actor is now posing tough competition, even to the superstars in the industry.
