'Animal' vs 'Sam Bahadur'

Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s 'Animal' will arrive in theatres on December 1. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna, and will be released alongside Meghna Gulzar’s 'Sam Bahadur'. Netizens are excited to watch who is going to lead the box office this weekend. 'Sam Bahadur' is based on the life of India's first field marshal, Sam Manekshaw starring Vicky Kaushal.

'Om Shanti Om' vs 'Sawaariya'

Ranbir Kapoor’s debut film 'Sawaariya' and Shah Rukh Khan's 'Om Shanti Om' was one of the biggest clashes of Bollywood. It also introduced the leading ladies Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. Both the movies also had Salman Khan’s cameo. 'Om Shanti Om' was released on 9th November, 2007, on the festive occasion of Diwali, earning Rs 150 crore worldwide. On the other hand, Ranbir's debut film 'Sawaariya' directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, was based on Fyodor Dostoevsky's 1848 short story White Nights.

'Dilwale' vs 'Bajirao Mastani'

'Dilwale' starred Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol together once again. The film clashed with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 'Bajirao Mastani'. Although 'Dilwale' did overwhelmingly well internationally as compared to 'Bajirao Mastani', the Indian audience gave a good response to Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra starrer.

'Lagaan' vs 'Gadar'

While 'Lagaan' was the third Indian movie to be nominated for the Oscars (Best Foreign Language Film), 'Gadar' became the blockbuster film of all time breaking the box office records of 'Sholay'. Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, 'Lagaan' follows the inhabitants of a village in Central India, who are burdened by high taxes and several years of drought. On the other hand, 'Gadar' was loosely based on the life of Boota Singh starring Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma in lead roles.

'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' vs 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan'

Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda starrer 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' clashed with Karan Johar’s directorial debut 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai'. Both the movies did great business at the box office.
