Ananya Panday reveals how her mother keeps her protected from 'nazar'

Ananya Panday who has left the movie buffs spellbound with her performance in her latest release ‘CTRL’ directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, revealed in a recent interview how her mother tries to protect her from the buri nazar.

Recently, in a Netflix video, Ananya confessed that her mother puts two black dots behind her ears every day without fail. The 'Dream Girl' actress shared that she has her nazar removed weekly, even though she's not sure about the science behind it. The ritual is performed by her house help at her mother's request. The house help performs this ritual with the help of chillies.

Ananya added that her mother places two black dots behind her ear, which often makes people think she hasn't showered or has something dirty behind her ear.

Before 'CTRL', Ananya was seen in 'Call Me Bae'. During her conversation with ETimes, Ananya opened about playing the role of Bae in the show, she said, “ It was nice to look at the world through Bae’s eyes , because I think we get too caught up in 'this is wrong and that is wrong' ..what is that one saying about me and we focus so much on the negativity. So when you get to pay someone like Bae, she’s always looking for the good in people. The characters that I have played earlier had ulterior motives, they are thinking something but doing something else, but Bae, whatever she's feeling, she’s saying.”
