Emraan Hashmi is currently busy filming ‘
Chehre
’, which also stars
Amitabh Bachchan and is directed by Rumi Jaffrey. And creative producer
Anand Pandit is reportedly rather impressed with Hashmi’s versatility. In a recent interview, Pandit said that he was impressed with Emraan’s dedication and how quickly he understood exactly what the director requires him to do in the scene. He added that the actor’s ability to transform himself completely into the character he was playing, was a great quality. Pandit said that the fact that Emraan could do such a great job next to a legend like Amitabh Bachchan itself showed how much talent, passion and focus the former possessed.
‘Chehre’, which is currently being filmed, will release only in February next year and also features
Kriti Kharbanda,
Rhea Chakraborty, Siddhanth Kapoor, Dritman Chakroborthy, Raghubir Yadav and Annu Kapoor. The mystery thriller is touted to be an edge-of-the-seat flick and promises great scenes between Bachchan Sr and Emraan. Coincidentally, Emraan’s grandmother played Bachchan’s mother 46 years ago in ‘Zanjeer’. Bachchan even gave a glimpse of his look from the film recently with a picture of himself in a long white beard knotted at the end, a chic beret and dark-rimmed spectacles.
