I do not know about other cinema halls. I am 58 years old. I live nearby Delite Cinema Hall. I am a single man. I have no TV in my rented accommodation. I occasionally use to go to my nearest Cinema Hall, if there is any good picture. It is seen that this picture hall use to shut their ticket windows after selling a few tickets and after that they hang on “House Full” banner near the ticket windows. After that, one will find touts selling tickets inside the cinema hall premises at a much higher rate before the cinema hall authorities. Now, those, who will arrive at the picture hall to see the picture, they have to purchase tickets at a much higher cost, say Rs.150/- or Rs.180/- or Rs.200/- for the tickets of Rs.80/- or Rs.95/-. Those, who are rich men, they can expend this much of money to buy their tickets. But, for a man like me, who has very limited income, it is not possible. So, I use to return home without seeing the picture. Often, I have thought that I will report the matter to nearest PS. But, I have again thought that it will be torturous matter for a peaceful man like me, who has nobody in Delhi. So, I have to give up that idea. Though there is police picket just adjacent to that cinema hall, but nobody has seen any police personnel visiting the cinema hall during selling of ticket. Hope, one understands what I want to say. Hope, a man, who wants to do good for others and at the same time for the film industry, will look into the matter and take appropriate action against such cinema hall(s) authorities. I do not know there are how many cinema halls in Delhi, where such type of blackmailing of tickets are going on.
