Anaahat has contemporary appeal: Palekar

PUNE: Film-maker Amol Palekar, commenting on his film Anaahat, which has been completed in a record time of 18 days, said on Friday that the film has contemporary appeal, though made in the backdrop of 10th century.

The film has been shot at the world heritage site Hampi in Karnataka.<br /><br />Palekar said the film would be released in June.

The film has Sonali Bendre, Anant Nag and Deepti Naval in lead roles.<br /><br />"Using unstitched costumes and designed jewellery was the only choice I had",Palekar said. A speciality of the film is that real gold jewellery has been used throughout. </div> </div>
