An emotional evening

At a screening held for the cast and family members of the cast of Mohandas, the event took an emotional turn when parents of the actors in the film couldn���t hold back their tears.
The movie reminded them of the struggles their kids have to go through to find a place for themselves in the world. The movie that has been directed by Mazhar Kamran, has Nakul Vaid, Sharbani Mukherji and Sonali Kulkarni in the lead.���I have tried to portray the story of young people who come from a simple background. I expect people to find their story somewhere in Mohandas. But I never imagined that the parents of my actors would also be so touched by the film,��� Mazhar says. Sonali���s and Sharbani���s mothers were in tears, and so was Nakul���s family. Speaking about this emotional reaction, Mazhar adds, ���Cinema and tears seem to go together. I don���t know why we cry in theatres. The magic of cinema keeps surprising us and does not let us become jaded.��� Mohandas, made under the banner of Vertika films, is Mazhar���s directorial debut.
