Amyra Dastur redefines her image with her look for ‘Prasthaanam’

Amyra Dastur doesn’t shy away from experimentation. The actor’s previous choices reflect the same notion. In Rishi Kapoor starrer, ‘Rajma Chawal’, Amyra brilliantly flaunted her sexy side shave. This time around, the promising actor dons a new avatar for the much-anticipated Hindi remake of Deva Katta’s Telugu blockbuster, 'Prasthaanam'.

As per reports, Amyra will portray the role of an NRI in the film. She herself had discussions with the director in zeroing the final look. Reportedly, he wanted to acquire a more likeable and modern edge to the character, but it was producer Maanyata who thought of deep purple streaks to intensify the quirkiness and fun element for Amyra’s role.

Talking about the matter, Amyra reportedly averred that she loves experimenting with her looks. And she truly believes that’s it’s her job as an actor to bring a character to life and if that means changing the look, then so be it.

The ensemble cast of the film includes Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Ali Fazal and Manisha Koirala in pivotal roles.

While ‘Prasthaanam’ is still being filmed in Lucknow and is most likely set to release sometime in 2019, Amyra’s ‘Rajma Chawal’ is slated to release on 31st August 2018.
