ago today - 3/2/2017. This film will always be special because of the amazing chance it gave me to work with one of the world’s greatest idols! Thank you #jackiechan & #stanleytong for this fun filled film." During an interaction with her fans on social media last year, she was asked about her experience working with Chan. Sharing a picture of herself with the star, she replied: "He's exactly like his on screen personality! Extremely kind and funny. And he's my real life hero."

Amyra is not the only actress to get nostalgic about the film. The 2017 film also starred Disha Patani and she also shared a picture of herself with Chan. She captioned the picture with the following words: "Happy 4 years of kung fu yoga .. love you taguuu.." She then went on to share another with Chan picture on her Insta-story and captioned it as: "This was the happiest day of my life.” The film, written and directed by Stanley Tong, also starred Sonu Sood and also featured a dance number choreographed by Farah Khan.
