Amrita Puri remembers 'the Bhakt' at Kai Po Che shoot
Director Abhishek Kapoor was shooting a temple sequence for his film 'Kai Po Che', when an ardent follower of Lord Shiva broke into a song and dance at the temple
Director Abhishek Kapoor was shooting a temple sequence for his film 'Kai Po Che', when an ardent follower of Lord Shiva broke into a song and dance at the temple. Actor Amrita Puri who stars in the film recalls, “He would come to the temple we were shooting at everyday and would sing and dance. I remember Gattu trying to convince him to let us shoot him. But he told us he didn’t have the time!”
Seeing his enthusiasm and devotion, the sound recordist on the set convinced him to sing on tape.
The chief AD later remixed and turned it into a track. “Everyone on the sets remembers ‘Bhakt’. He was an absolute rockstar!” adds Amrita.
